Nick Woodman almost single handed created the massive action camera market with his GoPro way back in 2002.
All he wanted to do then, was to take better surfing pictures. Since then they have become the defacto action cam for all the adventurers and selfie lovers alike.

Now, they’ve elevated their game with the launch of their first consumer drone – the GoPro Karma.

This looks like a really cool drone which also comes with a handgrip along with a stabilizer. This will help create some really seamless footage. It also comes ready to be packed in a really lightweight easy to carry bag.

GoPro claims to have simplified the flying experience with their handheld controls. You can also share the video live and the camera controls via the Passenger App.

GoPro seems to have put in a lot of homework into understanding the consumer’s use cases and building a great product that fits in tight to their needs. We’re super excited about this, and can’t wait to check it out ourselves. You can be sure we will have it when it does hit the shelves on our shores. Check out the rad intro video below.
